The Vanderpool Family
Alex and Amy Vanderpool, parents of two daughters at St. Albert the Great Academy, share their four-year experience with the school. Drawn by the school’s alignment with their values, they praise its welcoming environment, hands on learning, and spiritual growth. They highlight the close-knit community and personalized education. When recommending the school, they know the faith, values, and academic excellence have prepared their children for the future—and encourage you to visit!
We chose Saint Albert the great for my childrens’ education because it was the best choice to reinforce the values we teach at home. Faith based education and strong morals are essential to how I want my children raised. I believe St. Albert the Great will help me give my children a strong foundation for their Catholic faith as well as their education. The school also has a strong sense of community and I have experienced their support first hand. I love our SAGA family and we are very happy with the choice we made to send our children there.
We chose St. Albert the Great for our children because of the strong Catholic Faith based program. I am proud to witness this faith in all of the children everyday from preschool to the 6th grade. I am happy my children are part of this school and how far they have come in their journey of learning life skills and academic success.
We chose St Albert’s for their focus on each child’s individual needs and strong family values. My children have thrived in this calm environment which has given them a strong academic and spiritual foundation for life.
It has truly been a pleasure working with the students and parents at SAGA this year. I am continually impressed by how committed the school community is to digital safety.
When I present at many public schools, I’m often surprised by how many students in grades 3–6 already have cell phones, use social media, or play games with chat features. At SAGA, I was surprised for a different reason — almost none of the students raised their hands. That speaks volumes about the intentional choices families and the school are making.
While we can’t prevent every risk, delaying cell phones and social media, educating families, and creating a safe, supportive environment truly makes a difference. SAGA is setting a strong example for the community, and it shows in your students.

Trauma and Resiliency Programs
We initially chose St. Albert’s for its faith based education, we really like the morals and values that would be instilled in our children. The Montessori PreK program has been fantastic and we are very impressed by what our Kindergartner is learning. One thing that really sets SAGA apart from other schools is that it fosters a close, interconnected environment where everyone knows one another, making it feel safe and welcoming.
