Pursuit of Greatness

At St. Albert the Great, our mission is to form students in faith, knowledge, and character — encouraging each child to pursue excellence both in and out of the classroom. The Pursuit of Greatness Pickleball Classic was created as a fun, community-centered way to live out that mission.

What began as a growing interest in pickleball quickly turned into something more. After hosting a successful pickleball clinic that brought together students, families, and community members of all skill levels, we saw firsthand how the sport builds confidence, sportsmanship, teamwork, and joy. The excitement and connection sparked the idea for an annual tournament — one that promotes healthy activity while strengthening the bonds within our school community.

This fundraiser supports St. Albert the Great School’s programs, resources, and enrichment opportunities for our students. Proceeds help enhance academic initiatives, extracurricular offerings, and faith-based formation — ensuring our students continue to thrive in a nurturing and engaging environment.

Beyond supporting our school, this event fosters connection within the greater community. Local businesses, families, alumni, and friends come together for a day of friendly competition and shared purpose.
